About me

I’m a clinical psychologist and academic at the University of Sydney who specalises in treating child and adolescent mental health problems. I work collaboratively with children, adolescents and their parents to improve mental health and wellbeing. I have a particular research and clinical interest in childhood conduct problems and specialise in treating severe aggression, non-compliance and mood dysregulation. Parenting, and the transition to parenthood, are other areas I am passionate about. I can help you to build skills to manage difficult child behaviour and assist with perinatal mental health, fertility struggles as well as grief and loss surrounding miscarriage or stillbirth.

My approach

At every step, at every age, we’re capable of making choices to improve our wellbeing and mental health. However, making these choices and taking the right steps isn’t always obvious. My goal is to help people refine and build their skills to improve mental health and wellbeing.

First, I’ll help to identify areas of strength and areas for improvement. Next, we’ll make a plan to develop skills and start building a better life.

Knowledge, planning, action.

Effective, efficient, evidence-based

As a clinical psychologist, I use techniques and practical strategies that have scientific evidence to support their use. An important factor in whether these strategies will work is how you feel about your psychologist and how ready you are to explore doing things differently. If you’re interested in making a change, let’s talk and see if we’re a good match.

In-person and telehealth

My office is conveniently located in Stanmore, in Sydney’s inner west. I love meeting face to face, but getting into the office can be difficult, especially with little ones, so I’m happy to offer telehealth appointments as well.
